Dr. Hemali Hufton
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Hufton loves that dentistry is both an art form and a science. It allows her to fuse her passion for helping others with her curiosity to keep learning and searching for creative solutions. Prior dental school, she spent years working as a dental assistant as well as an Oral Health Educator at schools across Massachusetts. Dr. Hufton is dedicated to making each patient’s experience positive, comfortable, and informative and to build relationships to establish patient’s dental health and cosmetic goals.
Where Did You
Study Dentistry?
Dr. Hufton obtained her undergraduate degree in Biopsychology from Tufts University and then pursued her dental doctorate at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. In fact, Dr. Hufton is a triple Tufts graduate (AKA triple Jumbo!), also completing her one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency there. Dr. Hufton is excited to expand her experiences to New Hampshire and to join the wonderful team at Hanover Road Dental Health. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the New Hampshire Dental Society.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Hufton enjoys being active, especially indoor cycling, swimming, and hiking. She and her husband Josh are both excited to explore the Upper Valley and are always open to local recommendations for coffee and restaurants! They also both enjoy spending time with their cats, Zeus and Titan. In her free time, Dr. Hufton also likes to watch comedy movies and cooking TV shows.
