Follow Our Toothbrushes!
Our office has donated toothbrushes to multiple causes. Our latest was a medical mission trip to San Cristobal Guatemala. On this trip there were 40 missionaries ages 18 to 84. They were hosted in the town of San Cristobel and visited 4 Mayan villages. One of the villages was not accessible by vehicle so the team had to hike in. We examined and treated 2000 villagers and each one received tooth paste and brushes and instructions in their use. They have a Dentist on their team and her assistant and together they extracted 400 painful teeth, bringing long awaited relief to those suffering and under less then optimal conditions.
The Mexican Project
Through generous donations made by Dr. Bradigan and his wife Catherine, the Mexican project was able to purchase and donate wheelchairs to the Oaxaca Streetchildren Grassroots. The wheelchairs were purchased in Oaxaca, Mexico.
If you would like to make a donation to this project checks can be made out to The Hitchcock Foundation Medical Mission-Mexico. Donations can be brought to our office. Any donations made are tax deductible.

Medical Mission Project
A little while back, we had a patient who works up at Dartmouth Hitchcock; decide to travel to Mexico for a vacation full of hiking throughout the country. During his journey, he stumbled upon a small Mexican village. Intrigued, he ventured into town and began speaking with the locals and learning all about it. What he learned, was that this village was very poor, with no medical help, and very little power. He decided he wanted to help. The first step was meeting with a doctor, and finding out what they needed most. Turns out what they needed most, was an ambulance to transport patients to the hospital. With the help of Dartmouth, and other volunteers, he was able to get them the ambulance they needed, along with other money donations, including donations from Dr. Bradigan and Cate Bradigan as well. They were also able to get some other second hand things for the town. Now, John takes volunteers each year to help in any way possible. From bunk beds, to an ambulance, to solar ovens; our local upper valley neighbors have made huge changes in the lives of the people of Hildago and surrounding areas. Here are pictures of the people who live in this village, and some of the volunteer work put toward strengthening this village.
