One of the best things about cosmetic dentistry (besides the way it makes you look and feel) is that most procedures are pain-free. Typically, the less involved and shorter the procedure (think professional teeth whitening or dental bonding) the less discomfort you can expect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For more complicated treatments such as veneers, there are a bit more risks of discomfort afterwards, however, your dentist will numb you when removing enamel to prepare your teeth, and most patients find satisfactory relief with over-the-counter pain medications or cold compresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
